Paul and Carol Wagner started out with one sheep. One sheep led to another and now they raise 550 head of long wool Coopworth Sheep and run Hidden Valley Farm & Woolen Mill, a 1920s woolen mill in Valders. Carol dyes the wool while Paul operates the mill. They sell their wool products locally at farmers’ markets and wool festivals throughout the Midwest.
